Shannon Development has secured funding of €5.7 million for the redevelopment of King John’s Castle in Limerick. Following a detailed submission by the Company, a grant of €4.7 million has been approved by Fáilte Ireland and the Department of Tourism, Culture and Sport under the National Development Plan (2007–2013).
